Haverford College returned to the national rankings this week, checking in at No. 22 in the latest coaches poll after a 3-1-2 start to the season.
The Fords join No. 16 Elizabethtown College, No. 8 Rowan and No. 6 Franklin & Marshall in the weekly rankings chosen by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Messiah College received five votes for the Top 25.
Franklin & Marshall (4-0-3) came in No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic region, followed by Elizabethtown (4-1-0), Haverford and Messiah (4-0-2). Scranton, Gettysburg, Lycoming, Eastern and Lebanon Valley also made it into the top 10 for the Mid-Atlantic region while Rowan topped the South Atlantic region poll and Rutgers-Camden (4-0-2) were ranked 10th.
Millersville University moved up five spots to No. 20 in the Division II poll and West Chester University received three votes for the Top 25.
No team from the region appeared in the Division 1 poll, but Delaware and Rider both received votes and Temple (5-2-0) and Princeton (2-2-0) came in fifth and eighth in the East region poll. Delaware came in fourth and La Salle ninth in the Midwest region.
Camden County College (5-0-1) was the only team from the region to be ranked nationally this week. The Cougars moved up two places to No. 3 in the Division III junior college poll.
