Philadelphia Union defensive midfielder Warren Creavalle has been named to Guyana's 55 man provisional roster for the Third Round of the Caribbean Football Union Men's Cup Championship. Guyana is expected to face Andre Blake and Jamaica on October 8 in Guyana and Suriname on October 11 in Suriname, although the Guyana Football Federation is searching for a venue to host the match "due to the unavailability of the Guyana National Stadium on the date of the match." The GFF is considering hosting the match at the National Track and Field Facility, however it has to be certified by the Caribbean Football Union before a match can be officially played on the surface.

Creavalle has had a bit of a breakthrough season with the Union, appearing in 24 games so far and contributing an assist. He has challenged Brian Carroll for the starting number 6 slot in the absence of Maurice Edu. This isn't the first time that Creavalle has been called up for international duty - he played against the Real Madrid reserves as a member of the United states U20 team in 2008. Fortunately for the Union, the club is on a bye that week, so it’s unsure if Creavalle would miss any time with the club.
