Franklin & Marshall has company in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings for Division III with Rowan University and Elizabethtown College cracking the top 25 this week.
Rowan jumped all the way to No. 10 after being unranked with a 5-0-0 start to the season while Elizabethtown checks in at No. 15 after a 4-0-0 start to the year.
Philadelphia Union center back Richie Marquez’s alma mater, University of Redlands, is right behind Rowan in the No. 11 spot while University of Scranton is No. 19 and Haverford College received votes.
Franklin & Marshall tops the Mid-Atlantic rankings, followed by Elizabethtown, Scranton, Haverford, Messiah, Eastern, Gettysburg and Lycoming. Lebanon Valley College comes in 10th in the regional rankings.
Rowan is No. 2 in the South Atlantic region and York College is eighth.
The Division II rankings feature only one team from the region in Millersville, which fell to No. 25 after a loss and the Division I rankings feature Rider in the No. 22 spot. Delaware was in a week ago before losing to Villanova.
Temple is fourth in the East regional rankings.
Camden County College moved up two spots to fifth in the Division III junior college rankings while Rowan College at Burlington County received votes for the Division 1 junior college rankings.
