A bit of a shakeup in the latest USA TODAY / NSCAA Super 25 Fall High School Rankings, with both the boys and girls rankings seeing new top ranked teams.
The new top boys team in the nation is Newark, New Jersey’s St. Benedict's Prep (4-0-0), as last week’s number one St. Ignatius (5-0-1) of Cleveland, Ohio drew Raleigh, North Carolina’s Cardinal Gibbons in a tournament. The top ranked local team is still Wilmington, Delaware’s Salesianum School (1-0-0). Sallies moved up two spots to fourth. The only other ranked local school is Berwyn, Pennsylvania’s Conestoga (4-0-0), who come in at 25th in the poll. The only other local boys’ team to get a vote is Hummelstown, Pennsylvania’s Central Dauphin.
There’s a new top girls’ team as well. Kaysville, Utah’s Davis (9-0-0) moved to first on the back of their nine win start. The highest ranked local team is Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania’s Pennsbury (2-0-0). The only other local ranked team is Colts Neck, New Jersey’s Colts Neck (1-0-0), who fell two spots from 11th to 13th.
