In case you didn’t know, the Philadelphia Union’s newest signing is an entertaining follow on Twitter. Alejandro Bedoya took to twitter earlier today to talk about coming to the Union.
A new chapter in my life/career is about to begin.

A message from me about joining @PhilaUnion in the @MLS. pic.twitter.com/gF1g3Tzbm5
Pretty standard stuff for a new signing - he’s happy to come to the club, looking forward to the challenge, the fans, and thanks the front office for bringing him in. People started chirping at him, which again happens all the time (our feed has had some entertaining things directed at us too). Unlike most athletes who would ignore such things; however, Bedoya shoots back from time to time. When someone tweeted that the move didn’t make sense to him, he replied:
It doesn't need to make sense to you! Only to me & my family for which I've earned the right to choose as I please.✋ https://t.co/9DKgwkr4aZ

Another random person said he was taking the easy way out by going to MLS and that that was why the United States National Team will never contend for a World Cup. Bedoya roasted him.
If you mean by grinding it out at European clubs & 1 of best leagues for 9 years is easy way then sure... ✋ https://t.co/x66D9UEiuF
