The MLS All-Star Game will have at least two members of the Philadelphia Union, as goalkeeper Andre Blake and rookie right back Keegan Rosenberry were named to the Fan XI during halftime of the nationally televised game between the Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy.

According to the MLS website:

“MLS All-Star head coach, Dominic Kinnear (San Jose Earthquakes), will select the All-Star Team's starting XI and matchday roster from the Fan XI, two Commissioner picks, and a pool of players who received at least two votes in MLS player-only voting.”

The 25-year-old Blake was the first goalkeeper ever taken with the first selection in the MLS SuperDraft back in 2014. After a 2015 season that saw him injured for the majority of the year, Blake has solidified his position not only as the clear-cut starter for the Union, but for the Jamaica National Team as well.

The 22-year-old Rosenberry is the first Philadelphia Union Academy alumnus chosen for the All-Star Game. The native of Ronks, PA, was selected third overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft out of Georgetown University by the Union. He has played every minute of every match for the Union this season.

The 2016 MLS All-Star Game will be played at Avaya Stadium in San Jose on Thursday, July 28 at 7:30 PM Eastern between the All-Stars and English Premier League giants Arsenal.
