In the latest round of voting, the Philadelphia Union’s Keegan Rosenberry dropped to second place in the Major League Rookie Rankings falling behind the Seattle Sounders’ Jordan Morris. The Philadelphia Union right back lost out on the number one spot partially due to Morris’ goal against Toronto FC and partially due to the Union’s loss to the lowly Houston Dynamo - on a free kick he had nothing to do with.
In third place behind Rosenberry is New York City FC midfielder Jack Harrison on the back of his performance against the New York Red Bulls. Fourth place went to Toronto FC forward Tsubasa Endoh, with Chicago Fire defender Jonathan Campbell rounding out the top five.
Honorable mention was given to New England Revolution forward Femi Hollinger-Janzen, New York Red Bulls’ forward Alex Muyl, Montreal Impact forward Michael Salazar, and Union forward Fabian Herbers.
One thing that Rosenberry still has over both Morris and Harrison though - at the last check before voting stopped, only Rosenberry was in the short list to be named an MLS All-Star.
