Saint Joseph's men's soccer schedule released

Saint Joseph's men's soccer head coach Don D'Ambra announced the Hawks 18-game fall schedule on Tuesday.

"Our program has a new sense of energy and excitement for this upcoming season," D’Ambra said in a news release. "The team has worked very hard this past spring season and many of the returning players are looking forward to making an impact on the team."

The Hawks, coming off a 4-12-2 record in 2015, open their season at Temple on August 28, and host fellow Philly Soccer Six rivals Villanova on September 20 and La Salle on October 29.

Non-conference home matches include Philadelphia Union Academy alum Kevin Carvalho and Northeastern on September 2 and Navy on September 17. Non-conference road matches include Howard on September 9 and Yale on November 2.

Saint Joe's kicks off their Atlantic 10 schedule at St. Bonaventure October 1 and have conference road games at George Mason on October 8 and George Washington October 15. Home conference matches include Rhode Island October 5, Davidson October 12, Duquesne October 22 and La Salle October 29.
