The Philadelphia Union have been drawn against the New York Red Bulls in the fifth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Talen Energy Stadium is set to host the matchup on June 29th. The winner will travel to either Foxboro or Nassau County for the quarterfinals.

You may remember that the Union defeated the Red Bulls in the quarterfinals of last year's tournament. That game went into extra time and eventually required penalty kicks to decide a victor. The two clubs also met in the now-extinct Open Cup qualification process back in 2010. The Red Bulls defeated the Union, 2-1, in that one.

Of the 16 teams still alive in the Open Cup, 14 are from Major League Soccer. Two NASL clubs--New York Cosmos and Fort Lauderdale Strikers--have also been drawn in this round.
