Philly Soccer Six teams to play at Penn Park on Saturday

Philadelphia's six division one men's soccer programs will square off on Saturday at Penn Park at the University of Pennsylvania in a six-game exhibition tournament.

Drexel, La Salle, Penn, St. Joseph's, Temple and Villanova will each play two 45-minute exhibition games starting at 5:30 p.m.

Temple will play Drexel at 6:30 p.m. and Penn at 7:30 p.m. The Owls, which finished the season 10-7-2,  went 3-0 in derby matches in the fall, beating Villanova 2-1, Penn 3-0 and La Salle 4-1 in consecutive games.

Villanova, which beat Drexel 4-3 in a wild game last September and La Salle 2-0 while losing to Temple, will play La Salle at 6:30 p.m. and St. Joseph's at 7:30 p.m. The Wildcats finished the 2015 season 9-8-0.

Penn, which lost back-to-back matches to Drexel and Temple in the fall play West Philly rivals Drexel at 5:30 p.m. and Temple at 7:30 p.m. The Quakers finished the 2015 season 3-11-2.

La Salle, which dropped games to Temple and Villanova in the fall but beat conference rivals St. Joseph's 1-0 in the last game of the season, play St. Joseph's at 5:30 p.m. and Villanova at 6:30 p.m. The Explorers finished the 2015 season with a 6-10-2 record.

Drexel has Penn at 5:30 p.m. followed by Temple at 6:30 p.m. The Dragons went 3-15-1 in 2015, beating Penn while playing to a scoreless draw with St. Joseph's and losing a seven-goal affair with Villanova.

St. Joseph's plays La Salle at 5:30 p.m. and Villanova at 7:30 p.m. The Hawks posted a 4-12-2 record in 2015, drawing with Drexel and losing to Penn and La Salle.
