Jamie Luchini signs with Bethlehem Steel FC

He'll be pretty familiar with the campus then

Lehigh Athletics

Lehigh University and former D.C. United U23 forward Jamie Luchini has signed with Bethlehem Steel after an impressive showing on trial for the USL side during the preseason. Luchini had a rather impressive career with with the Mountain Hawks, starting 60 games and amassing a whopping 53 points over his four year stint with the club. His senior year was really what made him stand out - ten goals and nine assists for a Lehigh side that won the Patriot League and earned a NCAA Tournament bid.

Luchini also spent time with the D.C. United U23 team, and went undrafted in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft earlier this year. After putting a pretty good 30 minutes in against Syracuse at the friendly earlier this year including a calmly finished goal, Luchini was picked up by Bethlehem Steel. This is his first professional contract, and we are looking forward to seeing what else he has to offer the Steel going forward.
