The Harrisburg City Islanders have signed Barbados National Team goalkeeper Keasel Broome. The 24 year old from Claymont, Delaware was taken in the third round of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by the San Jose Earthquakes, but was released by the team after injuring his shoulder in camp. He signed with the New York Cosmos shortly after being released by the 'Quakes, however made no first team appearances with the club last season.

Broome attended Carvel Academy in Bear, where he was also the kicker for the football team. He played youth soccer for FC DELCO before going on to play college ball for the Providence (Rhode Island) Friars as well as stints with both Reading United A.C. and the Ocean City Nor'Easters.

Broome has also featured for the Barbados National Team, getting a 2-0 shutout of Aruba in his debut during the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers. It is unclear if he is available for selection for tonight's match against the Charlotte Independence.
