Andre Blake has been phenomenal this month. In case you missed any of it, Blake has 16 saves on three goals allowed and one shutout, which puts him at a 1.00 goals against average. Blake is pretty much the number one keeper in MLS right now. Second in MLS in saves, third in save percentage and tied for fourth in GAA. Leader in caught crosses, leader in saves in his own box. He's been unreal. The really impressive thing is those three games have all been against legitimate playoff threats and historically good MLS sides in FC Dallas, Columbus Crew SC and the New England Revolution. Luckily, Andre Blake seems to finally be getting the recognition he deserves. We've already talked about his player of the week nod here for his week two performance. Blake also notched two save of the week nominations which you can watch here and here if you would like.

Blake really has been the unequivocal answer at goalkeeper for the Union, which makes the pain of the M'Bohli/Sylvestre era sting even more. The Union traded up to draft him first overall in 2014, and he's paying that faith in full. All of these nominations are a great thing, but that leads me to my big point here - MLS Player of the Month voting is open to the public! That's right, form now until Thursday at midnight you can vote for anyone you want! Perhaps Will Bruin caught your eye this week? Just kidding, he isn't Andre Blake. Vote for Andre Blake. He's the first name there! Just tap that and hit submit. You know he deserves the win. Let's make it happen!

Vote for Andre Blake here.
