Six area teams made the field of 62 for the NCAA Division III men’s soccer tournament - three as automatic bids and the others as at-large.

Eastern, Haverford, and Messiah all qualified over the weekend when they won their conference tournaments, but Rowan, Franklin & Marshall and Elizabethtown still made it into the field as at-large entries.

Haverford, Messiah, Franklin & Marshall, and Rowan will all host.

Haverford (13-3-3) will host Merchant Marine on Saturday and would be at home again to face the winner of Kean and UMass Boston on Sunday if they win.

Messiah, which returns to the field after missing out last year for the first time in 19 years, also earned the right to host the first two rounds. They’ll look to keep their unbeaten 17-0-3 record intact against Centenary. If they win, they’ll face the winner of Montclair State and Christopher Newport.

Franklin & Marshall (12-3-4) will host Geneva and get the winner of St. Lawrence and Washington & Lee if they advance.

Rowan (16-2-1) hosts Lehman and if they advance would face the winner of Tufts and Springfield.

Eastern and Elizabethtown will both travel for first round matches on Saturday.

Eastern (14-3-3) faces Rochester in Oneonta, New York and Elizabethtown (13-3-2) will take on Vassar in Newark, New Jersey.

Defending champs Amherst and Chicago both earned first-round byes in the 62-team field.
