The Caribbean Football Union has announced the rescheduling of three matches Caribbean Cup Qualifying - Third Round matches that were postponed in the wake of Hurricane Matthew. The Group 1 match between Jamaica and Suriname was originally scheduled for October 5 will now take place on November 13 at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex in Kingston, Jamaica. The Group 2 match between Haiti and French Guiana that was also scheduled for October 5 will now be played on November 9 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The other Group 2 match that was postponed between St. Kitts & Nevis and Haiti that was originally scheduled for October 11 will now be played on November 13 in Bassaterre, St. Kitts & Nevis.
This would not have an effect on any players in MLS who would be called for international duty, as the MLS playoffs are on hiatus the week of November 7-15. The Philadelphia Union have two players under their umbrella who regularly feature for the Reggae Boyz - first team goalkeeper Andre Blake and Bethlehem Steel FC striker Cory Burke.
