The US National team youth system has continued with setting up their coaching staffs. Former Tottenham Hotspur, Brad Friedel has been appointed coach of the newly formed U-19 side while Omid Namazi will oversee the U-18 side. Both of them bring extensive playing and coaching experience in the MLS as well as Europe and should do pretty well serving as mentors to groom the younger generation for the USMNT.

Fort Lauderdale signs Brazilian international midfielder and former Union loanee José Kléberson. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. He brings World Cup and European experience to the NASL side.
Jordan Morris to train with Werder Bremen amid pro club decision | SI.com:
Jordan Morris to the Seattle Sounders isn't a done deal yet. Bundesligua side Werder Bremen, home of USMNT striker Aron Johannsson, has invited Morris to a trial that he will take part in from January 9th-20th. After the end of that it will be clearer whether Morris will be playing in the MLS or Germany.
