FIFA '16 demo release date announced

EA Sports has announced the release date for the demo of this year's highly anticipated iteration of the FIFA video game

Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

EA Sports announced that their demo for FIFA 16 will be released to the public from September 8-10th and will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The demo will feature classic modes such as Kick-Off and Skill Games, while adding in the new FIFA Ultimate Team Draft which is EA's attempt to spruce up the wildly popular Ultimate Team mode.

The release of the demo will also mark the first chance for the general public to play as the newly included women's teams. The USWNT and the German Women's National Team are available in the Kick-Off mode, but will only be able to play against each other. Joining the women's teams are the usual European favorites with some North and South American favorites.

Playable Squads

FC Barcelona

Real Madrid

Chelsea

Manchester City

Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Mönchengladbach

Paris Saint-Germain

Inter Milan

Seattle Sounders FC

Those playing as the Seattle Sounders will also have the option of using Century Link Field as their home pitch, making it the second MLS stadium to date that has been added to the game (Vancouver's BC Place being the first). Stay tuned for updates and Union player ratings as the release date gets closer.
