Cristian Maidana is having a good year.The Argentine central attacking midfielder is one of the bright spots in what has been a rather dreadful season thus far for the Philadelphia Union, notching a goal and racking up six assists in the sixteen games he's appeared in this season.

This past week has been pretty great as well. Cristian Maidana got an assist on CJ Sapong's goal against the Montreal Impact in the Philadelphia Union's 2-2 draw on Saturday. He also had his lost dog returned to him earlier this week after the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against D.C. United where he had an assist on Eric Ayuk's goal. But his year got even better this afternoon when he wed his longtime girlfriend Beli Freites.

On behalf of the entire Brotherly Game staff, we'd like to wish Mr. and Mrs. Maidana nothing but a lifetime of happiness.
