PPL Park will host a U.S. Development Academy quarterfinal at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8 with New England Revolution's U-16 Academy team as the Philadelphia Union Academy's opponent.

The U-16 team, the No. 2 overall seed in the tournament, advanced to the knockout stage after going 3-0 in the group stage of the playoffs in Westfield, Indiana. The winner of Wednesday's game will travel to Carson for the semifinals on July 16. The finals will be held on July 18.

New York Red Bulls host Chivas USA, Vancouver Whitecaps host Georgia United and FC Dallas hosts Beachside SC in the other three quarterfinal matches on July 8.

The U-16s finished the regular season with a 21-3-2 record. Two of those losses came against No. 1 overall seed New York Red Bulls, but the U-16s did manage a win over Red Bulls in the second leg of the Generation Adidas Cup qualifiers in February.
