Union Academy twin brothers Conor Bradley and Shane Bradley verbally committed last week to play college soccer at Villanova University beginning in 2016.

Conor Bradley, a midfielder who scored three goals in 15 games and 11 starts for the Under-18 team this year, and his brother Shane Bradley, a central defender who played in 14 games and was in the starting XI a dozen times, also compete in high school soccer in the fall for the Haverford School.

Shane was named the 2014 Delaware County Times Player of the Year for his efforts anchoring the Fords defense last fall and he and Conor were both on the All-Delco team for a team that was ranked No. 14 nationally by TopDrawerSoccer.com.

The Bradleys joined the Union Academy part-time as members of the U-16 team last season. Conor scored five goals in 14 games and 11 starts in the second half of the 2013-14 season and Shane appeared in 13 games, all starts.

When they arrive at Villanova in 2016, they won't be the only Wildcats with Union Academy experience and they also won't be the only twins with Union Academy experience playing college soccer in the area. U-18 midfielder Zach Zandi is entering his freshman season at Villanova and twin brothers Cameron Keys and Garrett Keys are entering their freshman season at La Salle.
