Kensington and Camden Youth Soccer Clubs want to Raise Money for future World Cup Winners

Future world cup winners always have a starting point. Camden Youth Soccer Club and Kensington Soccer Club both hope that one day a winner will come from one of their players. For this to happen, they need funds, and their next fundraiser is a fun one for you to take part in.

Do you think you can beat last years winners? Come out to find out.

What a great summer it has been so far for the U.S. Women's and Men's soccer teams. The Men are on a six-game winning streak, including wins over arch rivals Mexico, World Cup winners Germany, and third place team The Netherlands. I am sure I don't have to tell you how successful a summer that the Women's team have had. However, the first step for the superstars of today was to get into the sport in the first place. That isn't easy in many areas where pay to play is not possible. Two of those areas in the Philadelphia region are Camden and Kensington, and to raise funds they are hosting an adult, Co-ed 3v3 tournament.

The details of the event, and other ways you can help out are :-

Location - As with last year, the tournament will be hosted at the Camden High Playing fields, 1625 Vesper Boulevard, Camden, NJ 08103.

Date and Time - Sunday August 30th, starting at noon and going on until there is a winner (approximately 7 PM

Team Information - Teams can be all male, all female or a mix. There can be 3-5 players per team.

Cost - It is $25 per player, up to a maximum of $100 per team.

Sponsorship - We are looking to start getting sponsors for our tournament. This year, we are offering 2 different levels for sponsorship.

Level 1 - Mentions in all articles related to the tournament, as well as on Facebook and club websites. There will be a game day program that will list companies that are sponsors.

Level 2 - all of level 1 along with a banner to be displayed on the day, as well as in all trophy presentation photographs.

Referees - We are looking for people to volunteer to referee all the games during the day. This would be for no pay, but you would have our greatest appreciation.

There is also a facebook event page that we would appreciate if everyone shared to spread the word.

Thanks, and I hope to see you at the event on the 30th.
