It appears as if ex-Philadelphia Union manager/tyrant/denier of water breaks/ litigant Peter Nowak has found a new gig - managing the Antigua and Barbuda National Team. Kirkwood Soccer in New Castle, Delaware sent an email out today in part congratulating Nowak on the jobs while also informing parents that it is canceling this week's Representative Team trainings due to Nowak's departure. Kirkwood is also cancelling the Delfut Summer Select Program as well. From the email:
Coach Nowak thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent with our players here at KSC which has made this decision difficult, but wishes each one the very best in the future. He hopes that he was as much of a positive impact on your player as they were on him as a coach. Coach Nowak will be deeply missed, but we thank him for his years with us and wish him all the best.
The FIFA.com website seems to indicate that Rolston Williams is still the A&B Manager, so much like his transfer policy it's unclear what Nowak's role is. We hope the Antigua and Barbuda players have a Bobby Boucher there to help them out. Remember, Captain Insano shows no mercy.
