John Hackworth invites two Union Academy players to U-15 camp

Goalkeeper Carlos dos Santos and midfielder Brenden Aaronson have been invited to a U.S. Under-15 camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Under-14 goalkeeper Carlos dos Santos and midfielder Brenden Aaronson have received invites from former Union coach John Hackworth in his new gig as United States Under-15 Boys' National Team head coach for a camp in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from March 7-15.

Hackworth called up 35 players for the camp, 32 of whom are currently registered with Academy clubs and 17 who are affiliated with Major League Soccer Academy teams.

LA Galaxy have the most players on the roster with four. New York Red Bulls, Sporting Kansas City and Portland Timbers also have two players each on the roster.

A Philadelphia native, dos Santos has started in seven games this season for the Under-14s. He played with Continental FC Delco before joining the Academy and Philadelphia SC before that.

Aaronson, who hails from Medford, N.J., has played in 10 games, started seven and scored four goals for the Under-14s this season. He played with NJ Real and Medford SC before joining the Academy.

The U-14 team resumes play this Sunday against the Baltimore Bays at Harford Community College and play Continental FC Delco at The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken on March 14.
