Philadelphia Union to play Georgetown University?

Georgetown University Hoyas schedule points to a tune-up match this Saturday against the Union.

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

The Georgetown University Hoyas soccer program released their 2015 schedule, and it looks like the Hoyas are set to tune up for their upcoming season with a friendly against the Philadelphia Union. The match will apparently take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday. The match is set to take place in Philadelphia, however since the Union will face off against FC Dallas the night before, it's fair safe to assume the Union will field a team of reserves, trialists, and Academy players. The match is not currently on the Union's website.

The Hoyas have already held scrimmages against the LA Galaxy and D.C. United's USL affiliate Richmond Kickers, and will face off against the University of North Carolina on March 28 in Richmond, Virginia and against Duke University on April 11 at Shaw Field in Washington, DC. The Hoyas lost 2-1 to the Galaxy February 1 and drew the Kickers 0-0 on March 1.
