The MLS Disciplinary Committee confirmed what many Philadelphia Union fans already knew: the match officials got a lot wrong during the match against the Colorado Rapids. Silviu Petrescu - the referee for the match - was already suspended for this week's match for missing callsNow we've learned that Rapids' defender Bobby Burling, who will already miss Colorado's next match on Saturday, March 21 against New York City FC with a red card suspension, was fined an undisclosed amount for "failing to leave the field in an orderly manner". James Riley will also miss the NYCFC match thanks to a one game suspension from the Disciplinary Committee as well as an undisclosed fine for karate-kicking Andrew Wenger in the back. And the entire team was given a warning for "violating the league's mass confrontation policy in the seventh minute of second-half stoppage time".
