The Philadelphia Union's preseason continues with the second match in the IMG Suncoast Pro Classic this evening at 7:30 PM. After beating the Costa Rica U-23's 3-0 in the first match of the tournament, the Union were originally supposed to play TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but Mazembe couldn't make the trip to the United States and were replaced by "London United" - a team made up of out-of-contract MLS Players. London United was beaten 7-0 in the first round by the Columbus Crew SC. The Union will face the Crew in their next match of the tournament on Wednesday.
It's unknown if the Union will get to debut their newest signing, Venezuelan striker Fernando Aristeguieta, who was signed on loan from FC Nantes on Friday. Also unknown is if the Union plan on playing their expected season starters (as they've done for the majority of the preseason) or if the fringe players will get more time to give Jim Curtin a better look to see exactly where they fall on the depth chart.
