Junior forward Connor Maloney scored his seventh of the season with a beautiful strike in the first half against Northwestern on Sunday, but Penn State conceded a pair of late goals to fall 2-1 and slip under .500 at 6-7-3 on the year. Maloney leads the team in goals for the second straight year.

Rosenberry assist keeps Georgetown unbeaten in conference
Senior defender Keegan Rosenberry helped Georgetown overcome an early deficit with an assist on Bakie Goodman's 26th minute equalizer in an eventual 2-1 win over Villanova on Saturday. The assist was his third of the season and 10th of his career.
Senior Melvin Snoh played 30 minutes in the match off the bench, and junior Brett Campbell started and played 50 minutes for the Hoyas, which improved to 8-0 in conference play.
Colin Hester has two-assist night
West Virginia sophomore Colin Hester, who played with the Union Academy team in the 2011 Generation Adidas Cup, took advantage of a rare start on Tuesday night, recording assists on both of the Mountaineers goals in a 3-2 loss to Penn. The appearance was only his seventh of the season.
Kyle Morton gets shutout against Hofstra
Redshirt junior goalkeeper Kyle Morton made seven saves to blank Hofstra (ranked nationally at No. 17 at the time) on Saturday. The clean sheet was the fourth of the season for the West Chester native and the 15th of his career. He has a goals against average of 1.18 this season in 16 games.
