Philadelphia Union release preseason camp roster

In a rather unprecedented step, the Philadelphia Union released their preseason roster via a press release, reported CBS3's Kevin Kinkead. While most of the players on the list were expected, it's of note that the trialists are listed as well - usually a guessing game by those attending the open practice. Also noteworthy are the thee academy players who are getting a look by manager Jim Curtin and staff. Rais M'Bolhi will miss the start of camp while with the Algeria National Team in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Union will host an open training session for the public this Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at YSC in Wayne, PA.
