FutbolMLS.com - mlssoccer.com's Spanish-language site - is reporting that Carlos Valdes will return to the Philadelphia Union "next week to start his second stint in the American League (MLS)." The article says Philadelphia Union manager Jim Curtin told the site that "Having said he will not continue with San Lorenzo, he has an obligation to report to the Philadelphia Union. The future is quite clear."

The article talks about the twitter spat with San Lorenzo Vice President Marcelo Tinelli and reveals that Valdes' tweets have been deleted. It also says most of what was covered in this article, detailing his exit from the Argentine powerhouse shortly before they were supposed to face off against Bolivar La Paz in the Copa Libertadores. The only new development is that there may be other suitors for Valdes in MLS, although his contract is with the Union and it doesn't expire until the end of the year.

The situation is still very fluid, however we will keep you up to date on all of the latest developments as they happen.
