The 2014 Building Bridges 3v3 Adult Soccer Tournament will be on Sunday August 17th

Youth Soccer is the future of the sport in the US. However, many children in the Philadelphia area can't afford the "pay to play" fees required to become a star. Up steps Camden Youth Soccer Club and Kensington Soccer Club (and others) who give these children in urban areas the chance. Help them raise funds to keep going by participating in this fun 3v3 adult co-ed tournament.

Will you be going home with one of these trophies this year?

Are you a soccer fan? Did you ever play the sport as a kid? Help the kids of Camden and Kensington get into the sport by raising the funds to allow them to play for Kensington Soccer Club and Camden Youth Soccer Club

The two clubs are hosting their second annual 3v3 Adult Co-ed Soccer Tournament. Last year the beautiful surroundings of Rutgers Camden Soccer field was the location for the tournament. This year, the Rutgers field was unavailable, so it will be taking place at the Camden High Playing fields, 1684 Euclid Avenue on Sunday August 17th, starting midday.

Like last year, the tournament is open to adults (18+) and can be all female, all male and mixed teams. We will be adding a fun section if we get enough teams wanting to play just for fun, and not for the winners trophy. The Cost of the tournament is $25 per player - teams can be 3-5 players.

Last year - it seemed everyone had a great time. The winning team, the Vuvuzela Ukranians were sponsored by the Vuvuzela radio show and Eric Nash and dominated the tournament from start to finish, beating Penmen FC in the final. Do you think you have what it takes to put a team together to take the top prize this year?
