After signing to a three-year deal with Cruz Azul just this December, Goal.com is reporting that Michael Farfan has already been released. Farfan played most of his games in that blue uniform with Cruz Azul Hidalgo, the club's reserve team. The team recently relocated, and is no longer affiliated with Cruz Azul, leaving Farfan without a place to play. Cruz Azul has yet to confirm this move, but it seems plausible. One would think that he could find another team in Mexico, but I'm sure that MLS would love to have him back.
Keon Daniel has signed with Miedz Legnica, of the Polish second division. This is a curious move, as certainly a USL PRO move would seem favorable. It's possible that that wasn't on the cards, but it's pretty hard to believe this was the best club he could find.
My worst nightmare is being realized, as Justin Mapp and Jack McInerney have become best friends/very good soccer players for Montreal. They linked up once again this weekend, as Mapp assisted McInerney for the Impact's only goal.
Brad Knighton took over for an injured Bobby Shuttlworth as New England visited PPL Park last weekend. He allowed three goals, one of which was a penalty. Since the Revs won, he won't be remembered for the trio of goals allowed, but rather for this amazing save.
Jeff Parke went 90 minutes in DC's 2-0 win over Houston on Wednesday. They'll take on New England this weekend.
Andrew Jacobson started for FC Dallas on Friday, but left the match after 26 minutes due to injury.
Kleberson missed out on Indy's match last weekend, but is listed as probable for Indy's match against the Cosmos this weekend. Here is a close-up of Kleberson's left thigh.
Toni Stahl played the full match as Carolina defeated Atlanta 2-0. They'll travel to Minnesota this weekend.
Oka Nikolov was in goal for Fort Lauderdale's 3-1 defeat to Minnesota last weekend. Greg Jordan played 60 minutes at center back, as Cristiano Dias came off injured after half an hour.
Neither Chandler Hoffman nor Gilberto played in the draw LA Galaxy II and Sacramento Republic FC last weekend. Hoffman was on the bench for the MLS team, and Gilberto was left on the bench for the USL PRO team.
Morgan Langley scored two and assisted on two others as Harrisburg defeated Dayton.
