During the season opener against Portland, Amobi Okugo took a turn at being mic'd up. Although to me the game ended up in a gut wrenching draw, the Union in my opinion played much better soccer. Last year we saw Brian Carroll mic'd up to get a close up look at his leadership on the pitch. Perhaps showing these two videos side by side can give us a clear perspective on how two different players at two different positions handle a leadership role during a match. The Union this year are off to a good start. After two matches in the books, the Union have grabbed four out of a possible six points. And with some early momentum, they can snag three more with a good result against Columbus at Crew Stadium this Saturday. (6PM MLS Live) Could Manager John Hackworth be possibly thinking about a permanent Captain change? Let's look at some tape and you be the judge.
First. Let's check out Amobi Okugo.
And now. Brian Carroll
