Nothing is confirmed, nothing is official, nothing is remotely close to being agreed. But this is out there, this is huge news, and this is horrible for the Philadelphia Union, so without further ado, here is a rumor that popped up late Sunday night:
Sources have confirmed to me the Union have completed deal sending Amobi Okugo to Orlando City for 100K in allocation money. #DOOP #OCSC

Okugo has stated multiple times a desire to play in Europe and while downtown Orlando is a blast, it is not in Europe. But multiple sources seem to be confirming this, so European dreams will be put on hold as the Union live a nightmare.
If he is in fact signing a contract to join Orlando City FC, it would be a crushing blow to the Union who spent the past season making sure Okugo was as angry and disillusioned with the club as possible, including but not limited to keeping him on the bench during all 120 minutes of the U.S. Open Cup Final. The Union have had their fair share of missteps over the past five years, but angering Okugo to the point he is rejecting Union contract offers so he can sign with Orlando City while the Union only receive $100K in allocation money ranks up their with their all-time disasters.
In summation, take it away, Piers!
I want to die.

Well said, Piers.
