According to tweets from both Dave Zeitlin an Kevin Kinkead, the Philadelphia Union will officially remove the interim tag from Jom Curtin and name him the third permanent manager in club history.
The Union will hold a press conference for a "major announcement" tomorrow. So long, Jim Curtin's interim tag. #Finally

This should come as no surprise to anyone, as there has been speculation and rumor about this for months. There's no time like the present though - the Union are up against it a bit as there are three drafts this offseason (Chivas USA Dispersal Draft, MLS Expansion Draft, and MLS SuperDraft) as well as a host of other player personnel decisions that all need to happen before play resumes next year, provided the collective bargaining agreement talks prove fruitful and there's play at all next year.
The Union tweeted out that the press conference would be held at Chickie's and Pete's in South Philly at 11 AM. It will be open to the public.
