The Philadelphia Union announced today that the club had "formed multi-year partnerships" with three local companies: Dogfish Head Beer, Musselman's, and Delaware Express Shuttle Service.
Delaware Express is a shuttle service based out of Newark, Delaware that provides shuttles, limos, charter buses, and other modes of transportation in this area and beyond. Personally I've used Delaware Express commuting from my house just outside of Wilmington to the Philadelphia Airport and it's really convenient (not a commercial I swear).
Musselman's is the applesauce company that's owned by Knouse Foods of Peach Glen, Pennsylvania. Musselman's was started back in 1907 in Biglerville, PA and was sold to Knouse in 1984.
Dogfish Head Beer is a craft beer company in Milton, Delaware that is renown for their delicious, delicious beer. Dogfish Head was started in 1995 and in addition to the brewery in Milton (take the tour if you ever get the chance), Dogfish Head also owns and operates a restaurant in Rehoboth Beach, DE and three alehouses in Washington, DC. Also they are opening a beer garden in PPL Park and will sponsor the "Off-centered Fan of the Match" (which describes roughly two-thirds of the attendees, myself included).
Not to be ones to toot our own horns, but we called this a couple weeks ago when the other MLS teams were announcing ties with Heineken.
Seven @MLS teams now have Heineken as their official beer sponsor. Here's hoping the @PhilaUnion are get @Yuengling_Beer or @YardsBrew.

Or @dogfishbeer. Keep it local.

Naturally we didn't know it at the time, but if we can take any sort of credit for bringing Dogfish Head to PPL we'll certainly take it.
