Joe Tait scored. All hail Joe Tait.

There are no pictures of Joe Tait. Joe Tait is too fast for pictures. Here is a picture of Michael Orozco.

Joe Tait has been loaned to Darlington 1883, the club he joined in 2012 after leaving the Union. Darlington currently play in the Northern Premier League Division One North *breath*, in the eighth division. Gateshead, the club that loaned him out, plays in the sixth division. Tait started in Darlington's match against Harrogate Railway, and eight minutes in, he slotted home from 12 yards out, because he is Joe Tait. It's worth noting that Tait has now played in defense, midfield, and forward this season, as he lined up in the middle of the park on Saturday.

Michael Orozco played a full 90 minutes in his club's 1-1 draw after sitting out of Puebla's season opener last week. He'll take on Santos Laguna on Friday.

Michael Farfan, as well as Jose Villarreal and Rafael Baca, was not included in Cruz Azul's gameday roster for the second straight week. This is likely a fitness issue, as none of the three has played a game since October.

Armando Alonso's 92nd minute goal led Alajuelense to victory on Sunday. Porfirio Lopez played all 90 minutes in the 2-1 win.

Josue Martinez played 34 minutes in a game that saw three red cards. Despite the advantage that Saprissa saw for much of the match, they lost 2-1 in their season opener.

David Myrie was on the field for the entirety of Herediano's 3-1 win over Uruguay.
