Game: New York Red Bulls vs. Philadelphia Union
Where: Red Bull Arena, Harrison, NJ
When: 3:30 PM ET
Channel: NBCSN
Commentators: Arlo White and Kyle Martino
Meet The Opposition: Once A Metro
Much to the glee of many Philadelphia Union fans, the New York Red Bulls have yet to pick up a win this season. They've got two points from two draws this season, one against Portland Timbers and the other against D.C. United, striking fear into the hearts of absolutely no one. New York Red Bulls get the benefit of home field advantage, but through the early parts of the season the Union have appeared to be a stronger team. At the very least, the Union have been able to pick up the full three points against weak competition, something NYRB is yet to do.
Philadelphia Union starting XI: (4-4-2) Zac MacMath; Raymon Gaddis, Jeff Parke, Amobi Okugo, Sheanon Williams; Michael Lahoud, Brian Carroll, Danny Cruz, Michael Farfan; Sebastien Le Toux, Jack McInerney
Philadelphia Union bench: Conor Casey, Leo Fernandes, Antoine Hoppenot, Chris Konopka, Roger Torres, Greg Jordan, Keon Daniel
New York Red Bulls starting XI: (4-4-2) Luis Robles; Heath Pearce, Markus Holgersson, Jamison Olave, Kosuke Kimara; Jonathan Steele, Dax McCarty, Juninho, Eric Alexander; Peguy Luyindula, Tim Cahill
New York Red Bulls bench: Thierry Henry, Andre Akpan, Lloyd Sam, Santiago Castano, Digao, Ruben Bover Izquierdo, Roy Miller
Prediction: Unlike last time NBCSN did rivalry week, there will be goals scored this time. I'm feeling good because let's face it, what else does Philadelphia have in sports right now? Union win 2-1.
