Both Chris Seitz and Andrew Jacobson went a full 90 in their 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake. FCD weren't able to capitalize on Kenny Mansally's 17th minute red card, and walked away with only a point. Stumbling Dallas has only won two games since the end of May, and it would be shocking if they qualified for the playoffs.

Justin Mapp and the Montreal Impact suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Houston Dynamo. Despite the loss, the Impact look a lock for playoff action, holding a game in hand over its closest competitors.

Faryd Mondragón played in Cali's 1-1 draw Junior on Wednesday, but he is now preparing for Colombia's final World Cup Qualifiers versus Chile and Paraguay. Colombia has not yet qualified directly, but can with a win against one of these two teams.

Freddy Adu failed to feature in both of Bahia's losses this week. On Wednesday, Bahia was defeated in league play against Corinthians, by a score of 2-0. On Saturday, they lost to Vitoria in the group stages of the Copa Governador, a tournament featuring football clubs from the Brazilian state of Bahia.

Kai Herdling was an unused substitute in Hoffenheim's 2-2 draw against Mainz. Hoffenheim sit in 10th, but that will almost certainly fluctuate from week to week in a crowded Bundesliga mid-table.
