Justin Mapp went 90 minutes in a loss that will ensure that the Impact will advance to the knockout round of the MLS Cup Playoffs. Also, this game mercifully closes out Ryan Richter's and Chris Konopka's seasons.
Bakary Soumare and his Chicago Fire missed out on the playoffs, as they were smashed by a Red Bulls team on a mission. The 5-2 loss may be the end of the road for this year's Fire, but next year is looking bright for the Chicago team.
An amazing performance from Vancouver's Camilo Sanvezzo will force Colorado to participate in the dreaded knockout round. Danny Mwanga and the Rapids will travel up to the Pacific Northwest to take on the Sounders, who are winless in their last seven. While Mwanga's season will continue, Jordan Harvey's has ended. Harvey enjoyed a lot of playing time out in Vancouver, and only time will tell if that will be the case next season, as Vancouver look for a new manager.
Gabriel Farfan's Chivas ends the season on 26 points, ten points clear of the bottom thanks to Lionard Pajoy and Carlos Ruiz's DC United. Don't be too surprised if two or all of these players are moved before the start of the 2014 season.
Shea Salinas assisted on the goal that put the Quakes into the Championship Stage of the CCL. San Jose will take on Toluca in the next round of the competition. The win also knocks out Justin Mapp's Impact. Chris Seitz and Andrew Jacobson managed a 2-1 loss to the Earthquakes in MLS play, officially eliminating Salinas's team from playoff contention.

Chandler Hoffman got 45 minutes off the bench, but Isidro Metapan's four goals in the first half had already determined the result. Los Angeles will take on Tijuana in the next round. Hoffman is also advancing to the MLS Playoffs, as his Galaxy will host RSL at home on Sunday.
Porfirio Lopez is also moving on to the next round of the CONCACAF Champions' League after defeating Club América in Mexico. The win is Alajuelense's second against América, the other one coming in Costa Rica. LDA will take on Arabe Unido in a home-and-home, the first of which being on March 11th. In domestic play, Alajuelense defeated Santos de Guápiles by a score of 2-1. The Alajuela club now sits five points out of first with a game in hand.
Kai Herdling scored Hoffenheim's winner over Hannover on Saturday. The goal was Herdling's first in the Bundesliga in over five years. Hoffenheim currently sit in 9th place in the German league.
In Mexico, Michael Orozco-Fiscalplayed in Puebla's 3-1 road defeat to América. Puebla has dropped to 11th as a result of the loss.
Freddy Adu was an unused substitute for Bahia in their 1-1 draw with Atlético Paranaense. Woohoo.
