CSN Philly And Philly.com: Union-Revolution Game Moved To September 7 At 8 PM

CSN Philly and Philly.com are both reporting that the Philadelphia Union's game on August 29 has been moved to September 7, at 8 pm, because of Hurricane Irene.

Here are the tweets from CSN Philly's Ryan Bright and Philly.com's, and the Philadelphia Daily News', Kerith Gabriel:

CSNPhilly.com has learned that the @PhilaUnion vs New England Revs at home on Sunday has been postponed to Sept 7 at 8 PM at PPL Park. #Doop

Confirmation of earlier @CSNPhilly from that @PhilaUnion vs. @NERevolution game is postponed until Sept. 7 at 8 p.m via source close to team

Irene is expected to landfall in New Jersey, and then in Pennsylvania, sometime Sunday around a level 4 hurricane. The Philadelphia Phillies made the first Philly sports move of the day, changing their Sunday game against the Florida Marlins to Saturday.

NJ Governor Chris Christie has already declared a State of Emergency and ordered mandatory evacuations of certain counties in Southern New Jersey.
