I don’t think I have been more critical of a player this season then forward Carlos Ruiz. However, as rumors are swirling around that he will leave the Union for Mexico, I am not so sure that I want him to go. Reports have indicated that the Guatemalan striker, also known as "El Pescadito" (the Little Fish) will leave Philadelphia and join Club Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz, south of the border. Although I have ragged on Ruiz throughout the season, I will admit that his play has improved since his return from his stint at the Gold Cup. Overall, I believe that Ruiz’s departure could bring both good and bad consequences for the Union.
