The Sons of Ben announced today that Bryan James has stepped down as President of the supporters group after four years in the position.

With James moving onto an honorary position of President Emeritus, Vice-President Matt Ansbro will take the reigns as President.  James, who was one of the original founders of the Sons of Ben, said in the announcement that time considerations led to the change.

"The time commitment needed to succeed at work has steadily increased over the last year and now I must leave Sons of Ben in the hands of people who have the time to dedicate to our membership and our ownership to ensure that our progress continues. Thanks again for your support."

Corey Furlan, who most Philadelphia Union fans would recognize from being featured in almost Union ad campaign, is succeeding Ansbro as Vice-President. Addtionally, Kelly Delaney, a writer for the Brotherly Game, is now the Travel Coordinator for the Sons of Ben, according to the announcement.
