Upcoming Philadelphia Union home ticket prices will fall back to normal levels after a single game surge last week. David Beckham's non-appearance with the Los Angeles Galaxy drove Union ticket price averages to a season high, and possible a franchise record, $146.
It's interesting to note that tickets against CONCACAF Champions League finalists Real Salt Lake are currently the cheapest tickets available of the next four home games. Even Eastern Conference bottom dweller Chicago Fire is currently more valuable for online ticket sellers than the 2009 MLS Cup champions in Salt Lake.
Equally interesting is the above average cost of Sporting Kansas City tickets, who are currently in last place, worse off overall in MLS than the Fire, Salt Lake and Chivas USA (who will come to Chester on June 25 to play the Union in PPL Park).
