MLS released its first Castrol Index, a metrix used to measure individual success. The index analyzes each player's every movement on the field and how those movements impact a team's penchant for scoring goals and conceding goals. Including only April games, at the top of the list is Red Bull DP Thierry Henry, followed by injury casualties Steve Zakuani and David Ferreira.
6. Danny Califf
33. Carlos Valdes da GAWD (my edit)
35. Jordan Harvey
48. Faryd Mondragon
49. Sheanon Williams
No surprise that not a single player in the midfield or forwards is in the top 50, nor the top 100. Ruiz checks in at 110, while Le Toux is 130th. But considering its only April, and the team that many consider to be the best in MLS (Real Salt Lake) doesnt have a player in the top 110, you can take this list with a grain of salt. For now.
