In addition to learning that Taylor Twellman will color comment for Philadelphia Union television broadcasts in 2011, the Brotherly Game has found out that the team will appear on Comcast SportsNet (CSN) and/or The Comcast Network (TCN) during the upcoming MLS season.
Though still affiliated with 6abc, the Union will be televised mostly by Comcast, which takes 19 of the team's 26 locally broadcasted games for its channels. 6abc will broadcast the seven other matches that the Union have on television locally.
Comcast SportsNet will also feature a weekly Union specific show. The 30-minute broadcast will have new sideline reporter Bob Rigby as a guest on many of its shows.
As reported by the Brotherly Game earlier, the Union have revamped their broadcasting crew. After spending last season with JP Dellacamera as its lead play-by-play guy and ESPN's Kyle Martino as its color commentator, the Union have brought in two new faces. Joining Dellacamera on staff is ESPN and Comcast SportsNet's Twellman and Rigby.
Upcoming: The Brotherly Game editor Ben Feldman has more news to report and break down on the Union.
