James Doyle of Zolo Nation figured out that Philadelphia Union second round SuperDraft selection (23rd overall in 2011) Michael Farfan has a family member among the six trialists.

Gabriel Farfan has been spotted at the open-to-the-public YSC practices, held by the Union. The 23-year-old Farfan played with his twin brother, Michael, at Cal State Fullerton before Michael transferred to the University of North Carolina. At 21 Farfan signed with Club America of the Mexican Primera División. The forward is 5'10", 150 and was one of the highest rated recruits to ever play for Fullerton, according to the school. His contract recently ended and now he has joined his brother at practice with the Union.

While Doyle takes a guess that the mysterious player with dreads is Puerto Rico Islanders midfielder Keon Daniel, Philly Soccer Page believes it may be former City Islanders midfielder Brian Ombiji. The only 2011 MLS SuperDraft eligible player that looks remotely like the mystery trialist is Amani Walker, but he was selected by the Chicago Fire in the 2011 Supplemental Draft (9th overall).

A diminutive midfielder remains unknown, as no one has been able to even suggest who he is so far.

Finally, a tall defender is the sixth trialist and last of the unknowns. Because of his height - he towers over most of the team - it was easy to eliminate most of the left overs from the MLS SuperDraft. The only player that remains available after the SuperDraft and Supplemental drafts this year is 6'4" center defender Indy Smith, out of UNC-Wilmington. But Smith sported almost no hair in college, which is the opposite of this unknown trial player.
