The good:

  • LeToux scored his 9th goal.
  • Justin Mapp was in much better form and showed what he is capable of.
  • Coudet.  He controls and calms things down in the midfield.  Also: slide tackles and lots of them.

The bad:

  • We lost to the best team in the East.
  • Our goal was on a weak penalty given.
  • Despite outplaying Columbus in the first half we weren't able to take the lead into halftime.
  • Allowing sub Lenhart to score 2 goals off his head.

The ugly:

  • Califf was exceptionally slow and easily beaten.
  • Our finishing.  We had several chances just yards away from the goal line yet finished none of them.
  • Defensive passing gave the Crew a few counters they shouldn't have had.

Now we need 3 points on the road against Dallas more than ever this Sunday.  Hopefully the new defensive signing can get on the back line ASAP.  We need it.
