Breaking news from the Philadelphia Union:
CHESTER, Pa. (March 30, 2010) – Philadelphia Union have released defender David Myrie, the Major League Soccer club announced today. The 21-year-old started in the Union’s debut against Seattle Sounders FC on March 25, logging 78 minutes.
The release is quite brief and an explanation escapes me. A starter being released after the first game? Speculate away!
