Recent Moves and Impact on the Draft?

So, with the Union now bringing in younger CB Ethan White, (hopefully) signing Maurice Edu, and trying to bring in attacking MF Vincent Nogueira and winger Cristian "Chaco" Maidana, what impact do these current and potential signings have on the Union's draft plans? Personally, I think the signing of White all but guarantees that the Union will sign a veteran center-back some time before the start of the season to pair with White. That would almost certainly push Okugo into the mid-field as a Defensive Mid, which just also happens to be Edu's typical position. Does Hackworth drop Edu back into the other CB position? He has played some CB in his career. No matter how you slice this though, it seems like Carroll will be the odd man out here.

Nogueira and Maidana would finally give the Union some much needed attacking options in the midfield to complement Le Toux, but more options would definitely be a good thing. It's for this reason that I think the Union will take an attacking midfield player (possibly Mullins) with the #2 pick, and any one of the remaining talented CBs with the #6 pick since that position seems to be the deepest in this year's draft. These moves would add some much needed depth to the CB and MF positions while still (hopefully) drafting best talent available.
