Snow in Colorado has forced the two teams to move the game to Sunday, March 10.

The Philadelphia Union and Colorado Rapids will move their 6 pm EDT game tonight to tomorrow afternoon, a Rapids beat reporter said on Twitter.

A source informed Chris Bianchi, of MLSsoccer.com and ESPN Denver, that the clubs had decided to delay the game.

According to a source, the #Rapids have postponed today's scheduled home opener until tomorrow at 1 p.m.

The game will now kick off at 3 pm EDT tomorrow.

Both teams were supposed to make an official decision during a 10 am EDT conference call today, but the official announcement has not been posted yet. Bianchi said that he expected the decision to be posted within the 10 am EDT hour.

Hearing official announcement should come later in the hour.

Bianchi said that the Rapids were worried about the safety of those attending the game when deliberating on whether or not to move the start of the game to tomorrow.

Team was concerned about safety of fans driving to/from game. #Rapids #MLS
